This is the last update of the year! Thank you to the coaches and umpires that have chosen to work together for the students on the field.

SCORES & SCHEDULES
Reminder to keep updating your win/loss form as you play until your season is complete.

Regional Seeding
The process for seeding and tiebreakers can be found on page 31 and 32 of the baseball manual.

State Baseball
Teams that win their regional will receive an email from KSHSAA to the athletic director with need to know information. Further information on the state tournament can be found here.

CREW OF THREE VIDEO
Umpires are encouraged to watch the “Crew of Three” video under the education tab after signing in to the KSHSAA website as an official. It will be key to making sure we are in the correct positions for the calls coming up next week.

PREGAME DISCUSSIONS
Umpires NEED to have a proper pregame discussion with their crew members before regional games start. Being on the same page is critical! Do not walk on the field without talking. No one is above working as a team. Key items to discuss are fair/foul catch/no catch and look over your dead ball tables in rule 5 of the NFHS Baseball Rules Book. Postseason creates high leverage plays and awarding bases properly is a must.
