Regional Conferences

Purpose

KAY Regional Conferences, held in the fall, are an exciting power-packed day that afford opportunities for student leaders and sponsors from neighboring clubs to share successes and challenges, as well as exchange ideas. Sessions in leadership training and organizational skills are offered as well as opportunities to share resources. A highlight of each conference is a speech presented by the KAY Area President. In addition, the Regional Conferences provide an opportunity to recognize clubs for their accomplishments and elect new area leaders. Attendees enjoy fun and fellowship with other KAY members, and they will return to their school ready to motivate and inspire their local club members.

Who Attends Regional Conferences

Regional Conferences are designed for the elected officers, board members, and sponsors from a KAY club. Eight board members are able to attend this conference. If you would like to bring additional board members, please reach out to the RC host to see if there is additional room!

Conference Fees

Each area will conduct a regional conference, hosted by a select KAY club from that area. The seven regional conferences take place during the first two weeks of November. Fees are $10 per student delegate and $10 per sponsor.

Theme

The theme for the 2024-2025 KAY Regional Conferences will be "Waves of Service".

Conference Information

Mid-September - All KAY clubs will receive an email from the KAY state office. Items included: regional conference information, Area President Criteria/Nomination Form, conference collection information, Area status, etc.

One Month before RC - Host clubs will mail an invitation to all assigned clubs. The invitation will include: Deadline to register reminders, directions to conference site, etc.
