End of Year Reports – DUE TODAY!!
These reports are starting to roll in and I hope your club uses this time to reflect on all that was accomplished this past year and to look forward to what can be achieved next year. Reports are due May 15 to the KAY office. If you have questions, please contact me or Shannon.

KLC Health Forms – Important Update
If you have students attending KLC, there is a new and revised health form on the website that needs to be completed by the student/parent/guardian and then brought to camp with the student on July 24. Here is the link to the new form.

Student Leader Certificates and Lapel Pins
The KAY certificates can be found where to login in to find the handbook or register for events. You can then type in names and print those for your members. If you would like to order pins, please email Shannon Milbert at smilbert@kshsaa.org and she will send those to you and an invoice will be sent to the school.

2024 Unit Conference Hosts Still Needed
We might have all the regional conference host sites confirmed but we only have half of the needed unit conference sites secured. Please consider hosting a Unit Conference in 2024. These half-day events are a great opportunity to bring your club together. Please consider hosting in 2024.

Leadership Roundup
It is never too early to start thinking about how your KAY club will bring next year’s theme to life. “Leadership Roundup” will hopefully guide your club to look at its purpose when it comes to determining service projects, providing leadership opportunities and focusing on today’s tasks to make a better tomorrow. It is important to get those meeting dates on the calendar for next year, especially that first one in August. Spend some time with your club, thinking of ways to invite new members next fall so that they too want to be a KAY. All these activities serve the purpose of preparing for next year to be the best year for your KAY club.

Thank You!
As I finish my time at the KSHSAA and as the KAY State Director, I want to take this time to thank all the sponsors for their support and patience as I navigated a new adventure. I appreciate the work you do with students each day and the difference you are making in their lives and in your school, communities, nation, and world. I hope that you can take time this summer to re-charge and prepare for the new year.
