Summer Moratorium


New Starting Summer 2019 - Summer Moratorium

July 1-7, 2019 member school coaches shall have no contact with student-athletes (7-12). Coaches shall be prohibited from engaging in any type of activity involving student-athletes. To read the entire rule and rule interpretations please click on the link below.


CPR/AED Training Requirement


KSHSAA Coach/Sponsor CPR/AED Training Requirement

In April 2019 the KSHSAA Board of Directors adopted a rule requiring any head or assistant coach/sponsor for any KSHSAA sanctioned activity be certified or trained in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) administration. This rule goes into effect for the 2019-2020 activities year.

KAY Leadership Camp (KLC) is to develop leadership potential, to enrich personalities, to create an awareness of citizenship responsibilities and to develop a desire to become involved in those programs and projects which help to build a better world.
