2009 Summer Cheer/Dance Conferences
 

Application cards and forms are online through the KSHSAA School log in. Send the appropriate card (SPR-3 and/or SPR-4) with a $40 deposit per delegate and sponsor, to the KSHSAA on or before May 31. Camp reservations will not be guarenteed without receipt of deposit. Names and addresses of delegates are to be submitted to the KSHSAA on Roster of Delegates Forms (SPR-5 and/or SPR-6) [click to download - must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to open] by May 15. After receiving your application form(s), detailed information will be sent to you regarding registration, daily schedule, and campus information.

The entire registration fee of $TBD per delegate or sponsor may be submitted with your application. If only a deposit is sent, the balance is due by June 2nd. The fee includes health and accident insurance, housing, meals, conference materials, and quality UCA/UDA instructors.

No refund of $40 deposits (Administrative fee).  Full refund (less $40) if cancelled before May 30.  50% refund if cancelled between May 30 and 2 weeks prior to camp start date.  No refund if cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to camp start date.  All refund requests must be accompanied by a letter from a school administrator on school letterhead.

Our summer conferences are for coaches, sponsors and advisors, too! To prove that, we offer a special tuition reduction for ONE adult. Additional information is provided on the registration forms.

Schools are strongly urged to send qualified adults who are serving as advisors or chaperons with their students to conferences. These individuals will be responsible for their students. Each day a special teaching session for coaches and advisors will be conducted by UCA/UDA.

Mandatory spirit safety meetings for 7-12 head spirit coaches/advisors (cheer, dance and drill teams) will be conducted at all summer Cheer/Dance Conferences and Fall Spirit Spreader Clinics. Please check the REQUIRED - Spirit Safety Meetings link periodically for the list of meetings and/or cancellations.
 

The following four optional courses will be offered at each of our KSHSAA summer camps. Partner Stunt Progression I, Partner Stunt Progression II, Dance Technique I, and Conditioning and Stretching for Dance. There is a $40 additional fee for this certification.
