Application cards and forms are available behind the school login on the KSHSAA website. See Athletic Director for School ID and coach’s password. Send the appropriate card (SPR-3 and/or SPR-4) with a $40 deposit per delegate and sponsor to the KSHSAA on or before May 1. Camp reservations will not be guaranteed without receipt of deposit or purchase order. Names and addresses of delegates are to be submitted to the KSHSAA on Roster of Delegates Forms (SPR-5 and/or SPR-6) by May 15. After receiving your application form(s), detailed information will be sent to you regarding registration, daily schedule and campus information.

If only a deposit is sent, the balance is due by May 29 for all camps. The fee includes accident/sickness insurance, housing, 9 meals, conference materials, and quality UCA/UDA instructors.

Commuter Camp - We are offering a commuter camp option for schools who are in close proximity. The entire commuter registration fee of $184 per delegate or sponsor may be submitted with your application. If only a deposit is sent ($40 per participant), the balance is due by May 29 for all camps. The commuter fee includes accident/sickness insurance, conference materials, and quality UCA/UDA instruction. No meals or lodging is included in the commuter camp fee.

Refund Policy – No refund of $40 deposits (administrative fee). Full refund (less $40) if cancelled before May 29. 50% refund if cancelled between May 29 and 2 weeks prior to camp start date. No refund if cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to camp start dates. All refund requests must be accompanied by a letter from a school administrator on school letterhead.

Elite Camp Option For Summer 2013
Elite camps are designed for those teams who have mastered advanced stunts and are ready for the next level. Elite camps feature faster paced stunt and transition classes (participants will advance through liberties in their first stunt class on day one), additional emphasis on spotting and safety, and faster paced cheer and dance classes. Examples of elite skills that are covered include: liberty variations and multiple ways to get to a liberty, full up and 360 skills, various transitional skills only taught at Elite camps, as well as the new 2013 stunts and transitions. In addition, Elite camps offer an Elite Xtreme routine for teams to learn that is different from the traditional camp. Elite camps follow the same schedule as a traditional camp, just faster paced covering more material and information.
Any team interested in enrolling in an Elite camp will be required to "qualify" for the elite camp by demonstrating their current stunting skills to their big brother/sister. Teams will be required to show an Extension with a pop cradle before they can participate in the Elite camp. (Any team who can’t meet qualifying skills will simply be moved to the traditional camp sessions). After the initial qualification the fast paced fun begins.

The Elite camp option will only be offered at the following 2 camps:

  • Butler Community College – June 18-21
  • Butler Community College – June 24-27

Send Your Coach/Advisor to the Conference
Our summer conferences are for coaches, sponsors and advisors too! To prove that, we offer a special tuition reduction for ONE adult. Additional information is provided on registration forms.

  • 20+ students – no tuition charged
  • 10-19 students – ½ tuition charged
  • 0-9 students – full tuition charged

Schools are strongly urged to send qualified adults who are serving as advisors or chaperons with their students to conferences. These individuals will be responsible for their students. Each day a special teaching session for coaches and advisors will be conducted by UCA/UDA personnel.

Spirit Safety Meetings are Required
Spirit safety meetings for head spirit coaches/advisors (grades 7-12) will be conducted at all KSHSAA Summer Cheer/Dance Conferences, with the exception of Butler Community College June 24-27, and all fall Spirit Spreader Clinics (click on the “Spirit Spreader Clinics” link to the right to find out dates and sites of fall Spirit Spreaders). All head coaches are required to attend a spirit safety meeting in person or online.
