Beginning with the 2010 post-season tournaments the KSHSAA will use the Spalding TF-1000 ZK Pro basketball.  As schools begin placing orders for next year they should keep this in mind.  When ordering the boys ball is the TF-1000 ZK-Pro NFHS – Item number 64-4969.  The girls’ (28.5 inch ball) is TF-1000 ZK-Pro NFHS – Item number 64-4989.  During the regular season schools may use any ball with the NFHS authenticating mark.  During post-season play beginning 2010 the Spalding TF-1000 ZK Pro will be used for all games.  The KSHSAA has signed a five year agreement (through 2014) with Spalding to use this ball as the “Official Basketball” for all KSHSAA post-season events.
